This is a 1954 Franklin Half Dollar. This coin does not have a mint mark on the back above the bell, since there is no mint mark, this is from the Philadelphia mint. The Franklin half dollar is a historically sought after coin. On one side of the coin is a side profile of Benjamin Franklin, on the other side you have the famous Liberty Bell. These coins were only produced for 15 years and are highly collectible. Because these coins are no longer in production, the value will continue to increase over time.**The dark spots that can be seen in some of the pictures are not on the item.
