This is a a beautiful 14k yellow gold scrimshaw owl brooch/pin. This beautiful piece is 63.63mm long, 43.91mm wide, and 5 mm thick. On the front of this piece you see a beautiful owl perched on a tree branch with the moon in the back lower right. This is a beautiful vintage piece that has the year 1974 carved into the back. Also on the back there is a loop to put a necklace through and also a locking pin to wear on a piece of clothing.
The dark spots that you might see are from the refection of the camera, they are not actually on the gold itself.
